Talent, checked. Attitude, checked. Beauty, checked. Success, checked. She might have been a complicated young lad back in 2006, but not anymore. Her name is, Avril Lavigne.
You may have discovered her via the soundtrack “Alice” from the 2010 film Alice in the Wonderland. But it was her single “What The Hell” which was released on the 7th of January 2011, that topped the charts in USA, Europe, Australia as well as in Asia. That track was derived from her fourth studio album, Goodbye Lullaby that led her up the tower at number four on the U.S. Billboard 200 and UK Albums Chart and her third no.1 album in Australia and Japan.
Being more than a singer-songwriter, she juggles with her roles as an actress, designer and an entrepreneur. She voiced a character in Dreamworks’ film, Over the Hedge in 2006. Later, she showcased little tricks in fashion via Abbey Dawn, her clothing line and introduced fragrances, namely, Black Star, Forbidden Rose and Wild Rose.
