Making for another moment to remember forever, Michelle Williams had a triumphant experience at the 2012 Film Independent’s Spirit Awards on Saturday afternoon (February 25).

Taking to the Santa Monica beach venue, the 31-year-old actress looked gorgeous in Louis Vuitton as she spent time with Busy Philipps on the purple carpet ahead of the annual beachfront event.

During the festivities, Miss Williams ended up being doted with Best Female Lead honors for her work as Marilyn Monroe in “My Week with Marilyn”.

Offering up a heartfelt speech, Michelle thanked the “roomful of misfits, dropouts, loners … like me” for selecting her as the prestigious winner.

Among the many Tinseltown fetes taking place this weekend, the Creative Artists Agency’s annual bash in Bel Air was the place to be on Friday night (February 24).

Held at Bryan Lourd’s sprawling manse, Hollywood’s top names including Penelope Cruz, Salma Hayek, Cameron Diaz and Sandra Bullock were among those dropping by the Pre-Oscars party.

With studio execs busily hobnobbing with CAA’s top talent, the soiree also brought out the lovely Sofia Vergara, along with Victoria Beckham, Jessica Chastain, Vince Vaughn, Cindy Crawford, Matthew Morrison, Anna Faris and Jared Leto, among others.

The night’s happenings come as Hollywood is gearing up for the granddaddy of them all, as the 84th Annual Academy Awards are set to take place at The Kodak Theatre on Sunday night (February 26) – with the show airing live on ABC beginning at 7e/4p.

They’re two of the hottest ladies in the world, and Bar Refaeli joined up with Alessandra Ambrosio for a week-ending outing in West Hollywood, CA on Friday (February 24).

The Victoria’s Secret Angels leisurely strolled the sidewalks alongside one another while eventually reaching their destination of Fred Segal, where they grabbed up meals at the popular boutique’s Mauro’s Cafe.

The outing comes as Miss Refaeli is eagerly awaiting the release under.me, which is a new line of underwear for men and women in which she’s featured playing tennis in her underwear for the ad campaign.

“It’s coming.. So soon! I’m excited! Under.Me,” Bar tweeted during her West Hollywood outing, after having previously told of the line, “The philosophy is that underwear should complement your body, not steal the show. It was appealing to me to do a line of underwear from the fabric I like with the basic, comfy design I always look for, as well as underwear that can actually be delivered to your door.”

Among the many stars readying for the biggest night in Tinseltown, Angelina Jolie was busy rehearsing for the 84th Annual Academy Awards in Los Angeles on Friday (February 24).

The 36-year-old took to the Hollywood & Highland Center venue where she was joined by the ceremony’s producer Brian Grazer and stage manager Dency Nelson while practicing her presenter role.

And while the session was fast paced, even Grazer and Nelson couldn’t help but fold to Miss Jolie’s undeniable star power.

“You have to take a picture with me first!” Brian said as soon as Angelina took to the stage before politely adding, “Well, you don’t HAVE to.”

Meanwhile, Dency added, “You just blew the minds of two of our stand-ins who got a hug from you,” with Jolie replying, “Oh, you’re so sweet.”

The rehearsal comes two days ahead of Sunday night’s (February 26) 2012 Oscars – with the show airing live on ABC beginning at 7e/4p.

Finally getting a break from her “The Lorax” press efforts, Taylor Swift used her well-deserved downtime to tend to a few household needs in Beverly Hills, CA on Friday (February 24).

The Grammy-winning artist weaved her way up and down the aisles at a local Ralphs Supermarket while loading up her cart and hitting the checkout counter.

Miss Swift’s grocery loadup comes just after it was reported that she’s once again shown her good nature by inviting an 18-year-old cancer patient named Kevin McGuire to be her date to the 47th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards on April 1st.

The invitation came after Taylor was propositioned via a Facebook page created by Kevin’s sister, Victoria, asking the”Mean” singer to take her ill brother to their school’s prom.

To the prom invite, Swift replied, “I’m so sorry but I won’t be able to make it to your prom.” But to the elation of Mr McGuire and his sister, she then added, “But… I was wondering, the ACM Awards are coming up… Would you be my date?”

Overwhelmed with joy over the opportunity to spend the night alongside his idol, Kevin told USA Today, “Obviously I said yes,” while adding that the ACM Awards invite “is a lot better than the senior prom.”
