Bringing her energy to the FOX talent competition, Demi Lovato graced the “American Idol” stage for a rockin’ performance on Thursday night (March 15).
Having last appeared on “Idol” with Joe Jonas back in 2010, the 19-year-old belted out her hit single “Give Your Heart A Break” to the audience’s delight.
Once finished up, Lovato appreciatively tweeted, “Wow!!! Thank you guys!!! That was so much fun.. Can’t believe I just sang in front of Steven Tyler, JLO & Randy Jackson!”
With Daughtry and Lana Del Rey also performing (though Del Rey’s performance isn’t being aired until next week), the unfortunate contestant of the evening ended up being 16-year-old Shannon Magrane – as she was eliminated while the remaining field has been whittled down to ten final “American Idol” hopefuls.
