Hard at work on her latest film, Kate Winslet was spotted on the Boston, Massachusetts set of “Labor Day” on Tuesday (June 5).
The “Titanic” beauty looked gorgeous in a rose color dress and wavy hair while seeming pretty cheerful as she was seen laughing and having a good time with her fellow cast members.
In the new drama, a depressed single mom Adele and her son Henry offer a wounded, fearsome man a ride. As police search town for the escaped convict, the mother and son gradually learn his true story as their options become increasingly limited.
The Jason Reitman directed film also stars Josh Brolin and James Van Der Beek and is set to be released in 2013.
She raised eyebrows by posing nude for Leonardo DiCaprio’s character in the original “Titanic” flick, but Kate Winslet’s birthday suit scenes won’t be shown in China’s version of the newly released “Titanic 3D.”
According to a report, the Chinese government has determined that the “Mildred Pierce” babe’s breasts would be too much trouble in 3D so they’ve banned the scene altogether.
A statement from China’s State Administration of Radio, Film, and Television said, “Considering the vivid 3D effects, we fear that viewers may reach out their hands for a touch and thus interrupt other people’s viewing. We’ve decided to cut off the nudity scenes.”
One Chinese man complained, “I’ve been waiting for almost 15 years, and not for the 3D icebergs.”
Enjoying her time in Milan, Italy, Kate Winslet was seen attending the “Chiambretti Wednesday Show” this evening (March 6).
Sporting an all-black ensemble, the “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind” actress looked beautiful as she posed for the paparazzi.
Kate has been busy promoting the re-release of her classic film “Titanic,” which has been given the 3D treatment this time around.
She shared, “A whole new generation is going to get to experience the film. It’s very exciting that I can actually sit with them [11-year-old Mia and 8-year-old Joe] — together — and we can all watch it in a movie theater. That is going to be quite amazing, actually.”
However, when she first got a sneak peek of the 3D flick, it was a bit troubling for her. “I was literally like, ‘Oh my God, make it stop! Is that me? Oh my God, that’s me. Block my ears, somebody! Somebody club out my senses. Make it f-cking stop!’”
