Out taking a casual afternoon stroll, Anne Hathaway was spotted with her fiancé Adam Shulman in Brooklyn, New York on Sunday (June 3).
The “Les Miserables” actress looked perfect for summer in a black maxi dress and floppy sun hat while holding up her injured arm in a fashionable sling.
Alhough we are unsure of where her injury stemmed from, it looks like the 29-year-old star has been conquering the action film business pretty well.
In a recent interview with Empire magazine, the brunette beauty opened up about her role as Catwoman in Christopher Nolan’s highly anticipated Batman movie, “The Dark Knight Rises.”
When dishing about what it’s like to be the tough girl in the film Anne said, “Wonderful. I’m going to open a shopping mall,” jokingly adding, “no, I didn’t think about it like that. It wasn’t about, ‘Oh, I’m a girl who’s going to beat these boys up,’ and I’m sorry to sound so serious about it, but it was all about the character? it didn’t matter what my feelings were. I just had to keep my head down and stack it like she would.”
The action packed flick, which also stars Christian Bale and Liam Neeson is set to hit theaters on July 20.
Pumping up the worldwide anticipation for the latest super hero film, “The Avengers” stars joined together for a photo call in Rome, Italy on Saturday (April 21).
Among those on-hand at the De Russie Hotel venue included Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo and Tom Hiddleston.
Set to hit theaters Stateside on May 4th in 2D, 3D and IMAX 3D formats, “The Avengers” finds “Nick Fury of S.H.I.E.L.D. bringing together a team of super humans to form The Avengers to help save the Earth from Loki and his army.”
Meanwhile, the Italian press event comes as the Joss Whedon directed sci-fi action film has just debuted two new teaser clips featuring The Hulk and Captain America – with both available to be watched below!
During her time at the west coast screening, Vanessa talked about taking the role largely because she got the chance to work with co-star Michael Caine, as she said, “Any chance you get to work with a legend, the legend being Michael Caine, you take it. To be on the same screen as him is such an honor. You’ve got to work with the greats to learn from the greats.”
Offering more reasons for joining the project, the 23-year-old explained, “We filmed it in Hawaii. I was like, `Seriously, you’re going to pay me to be in paradise for two months?’ So there was that too. Also, I’d never been in a 3-D action film before, so that was another really great draw.”
