She’s fresh off of reprising her role as Black Widow in the ultra-successful superhero film “The Avengers,” and Scarlett Johansson has followed up her theatrical goof fortunes by covering the September 2012 issue of Easy Living magazine.
The 27-year-old actress looks simply stunning in a Prada dress with Van Cleef & Arpels earrings for the Mario Testino shot front page while dishing about everything from relationships and the downside of fame to her adoration of the Big Apple.
Highlights from Miss Johansson’s interview are as follows. For more, be sure to pay a visit to Easy Living!
On her love of NYC:
“I love New York. It’s beautiful and challenging. So inspiring. I could stay out all night, until the sun comes up. I was born and raised here. It’s home.”
On feeling older than she really is:
“I feel like I’ve lived a long time already. I’ve always been around older people. As a kid on set, I was always the youngest.”
On relationships and marriage:
“Falling in love and getting married… It’s nice to know you’re capable of loving somebody in that way. I always think I can figure everything out. Realizing that – if you are with the right person, they can help you out – can be hard. Relationships are complicated.”
On the downside of stardom:
“I don’t like to complain about it, but it was a strange transition to go from being an honest been recognizable. People are either really lovely your chair of the rude. It’s quite shocking when people are following you, bothering you in the bathroom, in the middle of a meal. It’s like the aero of decency is gone.”
On not describing herself as the sex goddesses:
“It’s easy to label an actor who’s played sexually charged characters as a sex-symbol. It’s wonderful for people to think you’re attractive but it’s not something that defines me. Maybe that sounds… This is probably an annoying thing to say. But I’s like to think that I have more interesting defining qualities as an actor.”
Though she always looks flawless in every outfit we see her in, Scarlett Johansson explained that she’s just like every other woman when it comes to body insecurities.
In an interview with ITV1′s Daybreak morning show in the U.K. earlier this week (April 24), the blonde beauty spoke about her intense workouts to get into her body hugging Black Widow cat suit in “The Avengers,” saying, “First of all, every woman has body worries. I’m not exempt from that, but beyond part of the by-product of spending that much time in the gym is that you can fit into a cat suit.
Although the payoff of fitting into the sexy outfit is reason enough to work out, Johansson explained that the physical activity also helped her in performing her own stunts in the action-packed new film.
The 27-year-old actress said that working with stunt-double Heidi Moneymaker was “a lot of training and dedication,” but it all paid off in the end, expanding, “It hurts and it hurts and then suddenly it doesn’t hurt, and you’re getting it right, and it’s a great moment – you feel like you’ve accomplished something big.”
The Joss Whedon directed comic book-based film also stars Robert Downey Jr, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Jeremy Renner, Tom Hiddleston, Stellan Skarsgard, Cobie Smulders and Samuel L. Jackson.
While “The Avengers” is set to release on May 4.

Talking with E! News during the film screening festivities, Miss Johansson was asked to share her super power, to which she interestingly replied, “Muffin baking.”
Explaining further, Scarlett dished, “I can make blueberry, banana chocolate chip…it’s like a superpower, just more fattening, I guess.”
As for getting the chance to play Black Widow again, Johansson recently told Total Film, “I love her. So putting on the outfit is like, “Ah, the old familiar friend.’ You have all this history to fall back on.”
