Making her way around the globe, Lady Gaga was spotted arriving at the Sungshan Airport in Taipei, Taiwan today (May 16).
The “Just Dance” singer was hard to miss, thanks to her bright lime green dress teamed with a multi-colored coif, as she waved to fans and press before heading to her hotel. Lady Gaga is in Taiwan for a pair of concerts as part of her Asian Born This Way Ball tour.
In career news, Gaga will be featured on the “Simpsons” season finale on May 20th at 8pm ET on FOX.
Of her experience doing the voice for “Lisa Goes Gaga,” Gaga explained, “I think I was more nervous than I’ve ever been, because I have so much respect for [the cast and crew]. I just wanted to do a good job.”
It’s always one of the hottest gatherings, and this year is no exception – as the biggest names in show business have converged upon the Coachella grounds for a weekend celebrating music and the arts.
Aside from the non-stop concerts, there are plenty of private fetes going on – with Emma Watson and Lily Collins spotted getting chummy at the Mulberry BBQ Pool Party at the Parker Palm Springs on Saturday (April 14).
Also joining in on the Mulberry Pool Party was the lovely Kate Bosworth, who turned up on the arm of her latest love, Michael Polish.
While this is Miss Watson’s first Coachella shindig of the weekend, Miss Bosworth and Miss Collins both started off their weekend the previous night by hitting up the Mulberry Firepit Party.
Swinging through South America as part of her “We Own the Night” world tour, Selena Gomez had quite the pleasant stop in Rio de Janeiro this weekend.
The 19-year-old singer/actress arrived in town on Friday (February 3) while stepping out for a press call the following morning, during which she was doted with a Gold Award memento from Universal Music Brazil.
Later that night, Miss Gomez took the stage at HSBC Arena to treat the sold-out crowd to a fabulous concert comprised of a full lineup of her biggest hits.
Voicing her fondness for her Brazilian fans prior to delving into “Who Says,” Selena told the audience, “Brazil, you have wanted me to come so much and I’m so, so happy that I finally came. Thank you. You have been so amazing and I hope you know how amazing and beautiful and perfect I think you are. And, I promise, I’ll come back. I love you guys so much!”
From here, Gomez is scheduled to put on a show at Via Funchal in Sao Paulo on Sunday (February 5) before closing out her global gigs with two concerts in Argentina and one final stop in Montevideo, Uruguay on February 11th.
