Showing off lighter locks, Elle Fanning was spotted heading to a music lesson in Los Angeles, California on Friday afternoon (April 6).
The makeup-free 13-year-old actress and younger sister of Dakota Fanning walked around a car while trying to cover up her midriff exposed by a cut out in the colorful and flowery sun dress she wore.
It seems Elle is trying out new hues for her hair, as just last week the teen showed off a light redheaded look, kind of like the shade in which she wore for her role in “The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button” back in 2008.
Currently, Miss Fanning is filming for “Bomb,” which follows two teenage girls living in London set in the 1960′s and is expected to hit theaters sometime next year.
Also being released in 2012 is Elle’s film “Vivaldi”, a biography of Antonio Vivaldi’s early life when the young priest became the music teacher at a school for the illegitimate daughters of Venice’s courtesans.
She pretty much has her pick of whatever film she wants to do, and Elle Fanning is eyeing a lead role in an upcoming remake of “Sleeping Beauty.”
The “Curious Case of Benjamin Button” starlet is in negotiations to play the role of Princess Aurora in “Maleficent,” and if she takes the gig, she’ll get to work with Angelina Jolie.
Jolie will play the villain, who curses baby girls, and production is scheduled to begin in June 2012.
Ms. Fanning, 13, already has an impressive body of work, and this project will serve to further expand her acting range.

Mingling with his faithful following, Brad Pitt was spotted at Pace University in New York City last night (January 31).
The “Curious Case of Benjamin Button” hunk signed autographs and posed for pictures as he made his way through the mob.
In a recent interview, Brad confessed that he and his partner Angelina Jolie sometimes give their massive brood of youngsters CocaCola for breakfast to get them going in the morning.
“Listen, I admit there’s times like, ‘We gotta get up. Get up! Here’s your shoes. Here’s your shoes. Drink this coke. Drink this Coca Cola. Drink it all. Right now! Drink it! Drink it!’ Just so we could get ‘em up and going.”
