Lindsay Lohan is fine following her afternoon collision in Santa Monica, California.
The actress was involved in a serious accident while on her way to the set of the Lifetime movie.
Lohan was reportedly taken to the hospital as a precaution after she complained of minor pains. The actress totaled her black Porsche when she collided with an 18-wheeler. Everyone involved in the accident is fine.
Lohan was released less than two hours after the accident and was headed back to the set to continue working, TMZ reports.
Steve Honig, Lohan’s publicist, released a statement after the accident saying, “Lindsay was involved in an automobile accident today on her way to the set….She is fine and was released less than two hours later and is already headed back to the set to resume work. Fortunately, no one was seriously injured in the accident.”
According to reports, drugs and alcohol were not a factor in the accident. Santa Monica Police Sgt. Richard Lewis said the actress did not appear impaired after the accident. An investigation in to what caused the accident is still underway.
