With her new movie having opened up solidly in third place in the Stateside box office, Lily Collins has taken her “Mirror Mirror” promotional duties overseas.
The 23-year-old actress looked exquisite as she took to Gaumont Capucines on Sunday (April 1) for the Paris premiere of her Snow White based film which happens to be titled “Blanche Neige” in France.
Set to hit theaters in the European country on April 11th, Miss Collins’ fairy tale flick finds “an evil queen (Julia Roberts) steal control of a kingdom after which an exiled princess (Collins) enlists the help of seven resourceful rebels to win back her birthright.”
Talking with Calgary Herald about the role, Lily recently dished. “She’s this modern-day girl who can save the prince just as easily as the prince can save her. She becomes a fighter, physically and emotionally, even though she starts out as this young, wide-eyed, innocent princess everyone grew up knowing.”
Collins also spoke about working with such a powerful Hollywood figure as Miss Roberts happens to be, praisingly saying, “Julia treated everyone the same. It was all about the team, and how they functioned as a team, to create this amazing project. I would only hope to be like that, if I get to be someone like Julia.”
