While nothing can take away the pain of losing Whitney Houston, the thought of her being in a better place offers hope and peace.

The “I Will Always Love You” songstress had been talking a lot about Jesus Christ in the days leading up to her death.

According to a TMZ insider, Houston performed “Jesus Loves Me” at Tru nightclub last week, and also told a friend, “I’m gonna go see Jesus… I want to see Jesus.”

Whitney had told friends that she “felt like her time was coming,” and even discussed a Bible passage about Jesus with a friend, noting, “You know, he’s so cool… I really want to see that Jesus.”
