Doing her best to keep a low profile, a camera shy Lindsay Lohan was spotted leaving the Chateau Marmont Hotel in West Hollywood on Thursday night (June 7).
The newly-brunette star sunk down in the passengers seat of an awaiting black SUV, all the while looking rather unhappy with the paps following her every move.
In career news, it has just been announced that Lohan is no longer in the running to play Victoria Gotti in the upcoming biopic “Gotti: In the Shadow of My Father.”
According to LiLo’s rep, “I can confirm that Lindsay has not signed on to be a part of the John Gotti movie, nor is she in talks to join the cast. It does not look like an agreement can be made.”
“Lindsay’s representatives and film producers were unable to come to an agreement. Lindsay has the utmost respect for [director] Barry Levinson and the producers and hopes to work with them in the future and wishes them all the best,” he added.
Keeping a low profile, Olivia Wilde made her way through LAX Airport on Wednesday afternoon (April 11) to catch a flight out of town.
The “Tron: Legacy” actress looked hip in a pair of black shades and a black leather jacket, mixed with a cream heels and blue jeans while also sporting a stylish brown handbag, keeping her luggage minimal.
On the career front, Miss Wilde will soon team up with Liam Neeson in the new film “Third Person”. She will play a New York gossip columnist while the “Taken” star will assume the role of a journalist as well as her love interest.
Paul Haggis, of “Quantum of Solace,” created the script that is set in New York, Paris, and Rome and has three interconnected story lines.
“I wanted one of them to have a job in New York. So after writing the script, I thought, ‘Oh, party reporting, that would be great.’ I go to parties to go to parties! It’s not for research. I just wanted to go to some premieres,” he joked.
The 59-year-old actor recently told the press he admired the script, saying, “It’s a really interesting part and I get to go to bed with Olivia Wilde!”
Spending the afternoon together, Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield were spotted out on a casual stroll down the streets of New York City on Monday (April 9).
The “Easy A” actress tried to keep a low profile as she walked closely next to her boyfriend with the two young lovers both in mid-length pea coats to keep them warm on the crisp spring day.
Meanwhile, “The Amazing Spider-Man” co-stars recently discussed their new flick which set to release in 3D on July 3, with a few highlights from the interview with Perez Hilton found below:
Garfield on playing Spider-Man:
“It’s heavy stuff. At the bottom of everything I’m a fan, so I’m able to understand that perspective. No matter who was cast, whether it was me or anyone else, I would have been pissed off, as a fan, because no one is ever going to match up to what Spider-Man is in my head, and what he is in my heart.”
On his first time wearing the costume:
“[I felt] very self-conscious, because you’re practically naked. You’re just all out there! And that’s a really dangerous, brave, scary place to be. But after that first flush you feel the power of it, the power of not being seen, the power of the mask. Peter [Parker] becomes witty when he’s got that protective layer.”
Stone on the first time she saw Garfield in costume:
“I touched him! I was inappropriate! I literally felt him. Because being in the room with Spider-Man is insane for anybody, especially with that beautiful costume. It was palpable on set that everyone was in the room with the actual Spider-Man. It felt like a mirage.”
She’s maintained a low profile ever since her “The X Factor” U.S. debacle, but Cheryl Cole is making a comeback which kicks off by taking over the cover of the May 2012 issue of Marie Claire UK magazine.
Set to hit newsstands on April 5th, the 28-year-old English pop star looked smashing in Dior and Fendi duds for the Tesh shot spread while opening up about her biggest regrets, her serious shoe addiction and her hopes for the future.
Highlights from Miss Cole’s interview are as follows. For more, be sure to pay a visit to Marie Claire UK!
On how she sees the next chapter of her life panning out:
“Who. The hell. Knows. In life, in general, you just don’t know. That’s the fun of it.”
On her shoe addiction:
“It’s definitely got worse over the years, my shoe thing. Just worse and worse and worse. I should really seek a little bit of therapy. Me doing my own shoe range is quite cathartic.”
On her life being much more normal than portrayed by the tabloids:
“I’m from such a normal family and background. I’m grateful for that; otherwise it could send you crazy… People have this crazy idea of my life.”
On reactions that her life provokes amazing her:
“I mean, sometimes, when people say things like, ‘Is the fact she’s wearing a pair of jeans sending out a signal?’, that still freaks me out. People psychoanalysing every move you make is weird.”
On if she has any regrets:
“In life? No. Life’s too short to have regrets. Mistakes are life. I don’t live like that. I don’t have that mentality. I think that things are sent to you so you learn and grow. If you regret them, you would never be the person that you are.”
Kicking off the morning with a workout session, Scarlett Johansson was spotted out and about in New York City on Saturday (January 28).
The “In Good Company” babe looked to be in good spirits as she strolled hand-in-hand with a new boyfriend, after divorcing Ryan Reynolds back in June 2011.
In real estate news, Scarlett is said to be eyeing new properties in London, England and she’s close to making a purchase.
An insider explained, “Scarlett doesn’t want any awkward run-ins with Ryan and Blake in New York. She was always a little uncomfortable about the fact that Ryan and Blake worked together while she was still married to him. When Scarlett is in New York she keeps a low profile. She wants to give the whole party scene a miss.”
“She’s filming a movie called Under The Skin in Scotland at the moment but she is hoping to meet someone new. She adores British men and would love a place and a man in London. She is not making London her permanent base.”
