Hurriedly trying to finish off her errands before the Big Apple weekend nightlife got underway, Miranda Kerr was all-business as she made her way around the bustling streets of New York City on Saturday evening (July 14).
Showing off her long legs in floral printed pants, the Victoria’s Secret supermodel was looking fab as she gabbed away on her cell phone while hopping out of a chauffeured Mercedes Benz.
As for her enviably slim and toned figure, Miranda recently revealed the regimen she maintains to keep herself in such fine form.
Of her healthy living, the Aussie beauty dished, “Yoga is the core of my health and fitness regimen. I enjoy practicing regularly and have done so for over 10 years now. I also love to do Pilates. Low impact activities that focus on the connection between mind and body work best for me.”
On top of the dedicated exercise efforts, Miss Kerr also has a system when it comes to her food choices, as she explained, “For my day to day diet, I adopt the 80/20 rule. 80% healthy and organic, 20% indulgent, that works for my body and me personally.”
Showing off her colorful summertime duds, a beautifully bright Miranda Kerr made her way to her latest gig in New York City earlier today (June 29).
Clad in a multi-hued print shirt, denim shorts and right blue wedges, the Victoria’s Secret stunner quickly made the busy streets of the Big Apple her catwalk as she headed towards the West Village for her Vogue Italia shoot.
In other magazine news, Miranda, who covers Harper’s Bazaar UK’s August issue, opened up about getting her body back after having little Flynn.
“I didn’t feel pressure to snap back into shape. My priority was just having my son and breastfeeding, which was something I really wanted to do, and it came easily,” the mom of one explained.
Kerr continued, “I do these exercises in the morning, they’re called chakra exercises. They’re a series of twists … It only takes about 10 minutes. It’s a great way to get your waistline back after having a baby!”
Prepped for her latest photoshoot, a very different-looking Miranda Kerr was spotted shooting an editorial for Italian Vogue in NYC’s West Village earlier today (June 29).
Clad in a short blonde wig, shiny silver top, aqua blue bottoms and equally-flashy silver booties, the model momma was definitely ready to shine bright for her new gig.
Miranda is gorgeous on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar UK’s August issue, and she shared that even after giving birth to her son Flynn she wasn’t on a warpath to drop her baby weight.
“I didn’t feel pressure to snap back into shape. My priority was just having my son and breastfeeding, which was something I really wanted to do, and it came easily.”
But now Ms. Kerr is flawless once again. “I do these exercises in the morning, they’re called chakra exercises. They’re a series of twists … It only takes about 10 minutes. It’s a great way to get your waistline back after having a baby!”
And though she’s quite the accomplished runway model, Miranda confessed that her husband Orlando still gives her butterflies in her tummy- “I never really want Orlando to be there [in the audience of a show] because it makes me nervous. But last year, he was like, ‘You have no choice, I’m coming’. And the one time he was attending the show, my shoe decided to fall off.”
She’s a favorite when it comes to front page picks, and Miranda Kerr landed another high profile gig by covering the August 2012 of Harper’s Bazaar UK magazine.
Meanwhile, highlights from Miss Kerr’s interview are as follows. For more, be sure to pay a visit to Harper’s Bazaar UK!
On her perfect day:
“To wake up to the sound of my son saying ‘Mama, mama!’ It’s the best sound ever. Then I just love to get him out of bed and he can jump into bed with us, and we have cuddle time.”
On the likelihood that she and husband Orlando Bloom will expand their family:
“I think probably, yes. Having a child is the most incredible experience. What’s surprised me most is just how incredible the bond is between you and your child. To watch him grow and evolve every day is really inspiring.”
On not feeling any pressure to slim down after having her son, Flynn:
“I didn’t feel pressure to snap back into shape. My priority was just having my son and breastfeeding, which was something I really wanted to do, and it came easily. I’m actually still making milk now but, you know, he’s got teeth.”
Making summer just a little bit steamier, Miranda Kerr took to Twitter to share two stunning bikini shots of herself.
Standing in beautiful blue water, the Victoria’s Secret model donned a sexy coral two-piece for the first snap in which she propped one of her legs up and stared intently into the camera with the fitting caption, “50 shades of Miranda…”
A few hours later Kerr tweeted another sexy bikini shot, this time wearing a black and white striped two-piece as she tilted her head back while posing with her hand on her head.
Also spilling her secret to her “beautiful, kissable lips”, the 29-year-old admitted on her Kora Organics blog, “The truth is my lips never used to be so healthy. All of the traveling (flights) I do takes its toll on my lips”.
As for her solution, “I was sick of my lips drying out … and I wasn’t happy with the other lip balms available on the market because of the petroleum-based ingredients in them,” she added, “plus they weren’t moisturising enough. That is why I created my own KORA Organics Lip Balm and as most of us are Vitamin C deficient I decided to enhance the lip balm with Vitamin C!”
Kicking off her morning, Miranda Kerr was spotted leaving her apartment in New York City earlier today (June 14).
The gorgeous Aussie supermodel opted for a chic all-black outfit, contrasted by a fabulous red leather handbag as she strolled up the street.
And though she’s well-known for her fortune and beauty, Miranda told press she’s more interested in keeping herself healthy through it all.
”Working 16, 17 hours, you need to know how to take care of yourself or you’ll fall off the wagon. I know it’s cliche, but I feel health is wealth.”
”I was lucky for a while there, I just did yoga. Now I’m exercising a whole lot more, but it’s for my job. It is a lot of work!” she added.
