Taking advantage of the mild pre-spring temps, Brad Pitt enjoyed a motorcycle ride through the French Quarter district of New Orleans this afternoon (March 7).

Always one to consider safety first, the “World War Z” actor strapped on a sturdy blue helmet and orange gloves for his midday rendezvous through the city.

Over the weekend Brad teamed up with good pal George Clooney for a one-night only read of “8,” a play aimed at overturning the always-controversial Proposition 8.

Adding their support for the cause, fellow Tinseltowners Jessie Tyler Ferguson and Jane Lynch also made an appearance in the production.

Not in the best of shape at the moment, Brad Pitt was spotted leaving Christina Radu Spa in Beverly Hills, CA on Thursday (January 5).

The “Moneyball” star sported shades and a black jumpsuit while emerging from the place of relaxation using the assistance of a cane.
As for the injury, Pitt reportedly told photographers on the scene that he tore a ligament in his knee – though he didn’t explain how the damage was incurred.

Aside from his leg woes, Pitt’s film “World War Z” – which hits theaters on December 21st – is being considered as a potential trilogy.

Reportedly, the movie’s director and Paramount Pictures are in talks of making the “post-apocalyptic horror film” as a triple-offering, making it Brad’s first big movie franchise.
